HOTGADGET.COM RETURN POLICY
HotGadget guarantees all products to arrive from our webstore to the customer in working order and in compliance with the manufacturer specifications. Any products delivered to the customer not meeting this standard are eligible for replacement.
RETURNS
If you are not satisfied with your purchase at the HotGadget web store, please call 1-800-637-8087 for a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number within 10 business days of the receipt of the product. If the item is returned unopened in the original box, we will exchange it or offer you a refund based on your original method of payment. The product must be returned to HotGadget within 10 business days of the issuance of the RMA. All products must be packed in the original, unmarked packaging including any accessories, manuals, documentation and registration that shipped with the product; and prominently display the RMA number on the outside of the shipping box (no envelopes). All shipping to get the package back to HotGadget will be at the customer's expense. HotGadget will cover the expenses to get the product back to the customer (if applicable).
NOTE: HotGadget recommends that you (1) use a carrier that offers shipment tracking for all returns and (2) either insure your package for safe return to HotGadget or declare the full value of the shipment so that you are completely protected if the shipment is lost or damaged in transit. If you choose not to (1) use a carrier that offers tracking and (2) insure or declare the full value of the product, you will be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping. Please note that the United States Postal Service (USPS) offers limited tracking capabilities and that there is a 30-calendar-day waiting period before the USPS will initiate a trace.
DEFECTIVE ITEMS
If you discover what you believe is a product defect for a HotGadget product, please contact HotGadget Technical Support for an RMA number at 1-800-637-8087. Such a defect, if any, is covered under the terms of your product's warranty. Please refer to the warranty information and other supporting documentation that came with your product. Upon receiving the product HotGadget tech support department will verify any product defects and coordinate a replacement with the shipping department (All products will undergo testing by our technical staff before replacements are approved.). All shipping expenses to get the package back to HotGadget will be at the customer's expense. HotGadget will cover the expenses to get the product back to the customer. The product will then be returned via the carrier and method of HotGadget’s choice unless other arrangements have been made between customer and HotGadget.
HotGadget attempts to provide all compatibility information for our products. However it is ultimately the customer's responsibility to ensure that a certain device will function properly with their equipment. HotGadget invites its customers to inquire about compatibility through visiting our website, email or over the phone.
REFUNDS
If the specific product cannot be replaced, HotGadget will issue a refund for the price of the product based on the original method of payment. Refunds can only be issued if HotGadget cannot replace the product with the exact product, or one of equal price and specification.
