Most of us won’t get to spend time trekking the Emerald Isles and enjoying their ever-so popular pubs, so why not bring the pub experience home? For years beer drinkers have enjoyed a beverage known as the Black and Tan, a perfectly layered mixture of black stouts (Guinness®, Murphy's® and Beamish®) and tan lagers (Bass ®, Harp®, or Hard Cider). There are many different ways to experiment with the Black & Tan, but the layering of the two alcohols in this concoction is key. BRÜTÜL has come up with a way to ensure that this beverage is perfect every time with the LagerHead Turtle. The stainless steel turtle fits on to any pint glass, and its shell helps the layering of the liquids by allowing the lighter beer to float on top of the bottom heavier beer. Stouts are thicker and lighter than the lagers and therefore remain suspended as the top layer, in order to keep the two layers from conjoining the LagerHead turtle shell turns the stout into tiny streams that doesn’t disrupt the bottom layer.
