Face it. There is something fantastic about a glowing inanimate object radiating in all its mesmerizing glory. I would watch a rock change color if it was enticing enough. But now we have a way to combine this hint of creativity into our daily grind with the Color Changing Digital Alarm Clock. There could be no better way to integrate a little pleasure into the harsh encounter of getting up on Monday morning (unless the alarm clock goes to work for you). This incandescent block will begin to help you correlate getting up in the morning with something wonderful, or at the bare minimum it will make you feel bad when you throw a pillow at it come 6:30am.

The psychedelic alarm clock cycles through a beautiful spectrum of 12 vivid colors, and can be set up to glow a different color each hour or continuously rotate through the colors in mere seconds. The brilliant colors are incased in a solid plastic molding that protects it from the obvious abuse that alarm clocks receive, and the entire unit can run off of four AAA batteries or an AC adapter (provided). Setup is super easy too. Just take the block o’ color out of the box and either throw in some batteries or plug it into the wall. Follow the instructions to set the clock function and you’re done. But if you do get inpatient and want to see the colors flashing before you set the clock, just flip it over and switch to demo mode. This will allow you to see all the colors in rapid fire, and confirm your great purchase! The colors can be turned off, but truthfully you will view the soft glow as a vehicle for a good night’s rest instead of an annoyance. Yawn….
